Abstract: Consensus of 39 sequences (2 entire length) from Ilex paraguariensis GCA_963454935.2, then curated with 2.3 million genomic reads of the species (19453X coverage) from ERR12037359 and ERR12040303 that mapped at 97% stringency and hold 99.6% of global sequence similarity. The transcribed region from this genomic sequence is 99.9% identical to the reported RNA sequence of the species (Aguilera et al. 2016; http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/11263504.2015.1018982). Additional features: complete intergenic spacer (IGS) unit (1-4883); 3' external transcribed spacer (3ETS) (1-175); IGS non-transcribed region (176-3974); 5ETS (3975-4883); repetitive block at the IGS, composed by 38 repetitions of 32 nt each with overall 96% identity (162-1372); direct repeat stretches of 791/750 nt at the IGS that share 76.4% identity (2655-3445; 3497-4246); TATA-like sequence (3940-3974); complete transcribed ribosomal unit (3975-10760; 1-175); 18S rRNA gene (4884-6692); internal transcribed spacer 1 (ITS1) (6693-6961); 5.8S rRNA gene(6962-7120); ITS2 (7121-7385); 25S rRNA gene (7386-10760).
