Abstract: Analyzed genomes: I. asprella (NCBI:GCA_023539305.1), I aquifolium (NCBI:GCA_951799425.1), I. latifolia (NGDC:GWHBIST00000000) and I. polyneura (NGDC:GWHBDNW00000000). Consensus of 118 sequences; mean 88.4% identity to consensus. Additional features: tRNA-related region (1-93); A box (14-24); B box (69-79); tRNA-unrelated region (94-201); poly A tail (202-215). 97.7% similar to SINE2-4_Ipa. SINE2-4_Ilex variants a, b and c share 67.1% similarity.
