Abstract:
Analyzed genome of Theobroma cacao: GCF_000208745.1. A single genomic copy at chromosome NC_030859.1, 98.6% similar to SINE3-1_Ipa of Repbase. 18 nt TSDs, 88.9% similar: AAATGAGCAGAGAGTATG/AAATGAGCAAAGAGTATT. Additional features: 5S rRNA gene related region (1-120); A box (50-61); Intermediate Element (IE) (70-71); C box (80-89); RNA binding domains (10-21; 60-76; 99-108); non-transcribed spacer transcription termination site (TTS) related region (121-123); poly A tail (124-138). This sequence constitutes the second report of a SINE3 at Viridiplantae.
