Abstract: Composite of internal region of two independent LTR retrotransposon insertions that are 97.1% identical at the DNA level, including LTRs and 98.4% identical excluding LTRs. LTRs from each element are 99.9% and 100% identical, respectively. Related to Ram4 from M. truncatula. Gag-prot ORF separated from RT-RH ORF by +1 frameshift. 143 bp region where ORF1 and ORF2 overlap does not encode identifiable protein domains. No detectable integrase. LTRs flanked by 5 bp target site duplications.
