Abstract: The Ambal-3N1_FCy consensus sequence was derived from 7 copies 86-97% identical to it. Ambal-3N1_FCy is characterized by 15-20-bp TSDs. It shares 68-bp 5'- and 220-bp 3'-terminial portions with Ambal-3_FCy, which is its autonomous relative. The consensus sequence was derived from sequence data produced by the US Department of Energy Joint Genome Institute http://www.jgi.doe.gov/ in collaboration with the user community.
