Abstract: piggyBac-10_SM is a young family of piggyBac transposons, characterized by 14-bp TIRs and TTAA target-site duplications. The consensus sequence was reconstructed based on multiple alignment of 10 copies, which are ~97% identical to the consensus sequence.
