Abstract:
DNA-4-1_NV elements are flanked by 4-bp targets site duplications. Termini of DNA-4-1_NV differs from elements that belong to the Chapaev, Kolobok and piggyBac superfamilies, which are also flanked by 4-bp TSDs. It is likely that DNA-4-1_NV belongs to a novel superfamily of DNA transposons.
