Abstract: This is an internal portion of the Gypsy1-VV LTR retrotransposon family. Individual elements are on average 80% similar to the consensus. The internal portion is flanked by 95% identical long terminal repeats (LTRs). 5'LTR sequence is deposited as Gypsy1-VV_LTR. Target site duplications are 5 bp-long.
