Abstract: Harbinger-N4_NV is a consensus sequence of a family of non-autonomous Harbinger transposons. This familiy is relatively old; its copies are ~7% divergent from the consensus sequence. The Harbinger-N4_NV transposon is characterized by 30-bp imperfect TIRs and TWA target site duplications.
