Abstract: Individual copies are ~95% identical to consensus, and no open reading frame was identified. The 3'-end of SINEL_SM is similar to the 3' end of LIN2_SM. The overall structure of SINEL_SM resembles that of SINE elements, except that it is much longer than most SINEs.
