Journal:
Repbase Reports 6(9), 460-460 (2006)
Abstract:
The genome contains several thousand copies of the Harbinger-N8_XT nonautonomous DNA transposon. It is characterized by the palindromic structure and 3-bp TWA target site duplications. This family is very old (youngest elements are >15% divergent from the consensus).
