Title: Harbinger-N6_XT, a young family of nonautonomous Harbinger DNA transposons from frog. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 6(9), 457-457 (2006) |
Abstract: The genome contains ~2000 copies of the Harbinger-N6_XT nonautonomous DNA transposon. They are characterized by 24-bp TIRs and 3-bp target-site duplications. Elements from this family can still be mobile (they are just 0.5% divergent from the consensus).
