Abstract:
hAT-4_DR is a young family of autonomous DNA transposons that belongs to the hAT superfamily. The genome harbors several copies of hAT-4_DR that are over 95% identical to each other. DNA8-9_DR is a nonautonomous transposon derived from hAT-4_DR. The consensus sequence encodes a 642-aa transposase (putatively by three exons).
