Title:
Harbinger-N14_XT, a family of nonautonomous Harbinger DNA transposons from frog.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 6(11), 564-564 (2006)
Abstract:
The genome contains >1000 copies of the Harbinger-N14_XT nonautonomous DNA transposon, which is characterized by the 3-bp TWA target site duplications. This family is relatively young: transposon copies are 3-10% divergent from the consensus sequence. This non-autonomous element shares common termini with the autonomous Harbinger-3_XT.
