Abstract: This is an internal portion of the Gypsy1_AO LTR retrotranspopson. Its long terminal repeat is Gypsy1-LTR_AO. ORF coding for the gypsy polyprotein is severely corrupted by many stop codons, which are likely have been introduced by RIP.
