Journal:
Repbase Reports 5(6), 152-152 (2005)
Abstract:
The genome harbors about 3000 copies of Mariner-N2_SP that are >90% identical to the consensus sequence. Putative classification: Mariner/Tc1 superfamily (12-bp terminal inverted repeats, the TA target site duplications). The number of Mariner-N2_SP-like element (70-90% identity to the Mariner-N2_SP) is ~10,000.
