Abstract:
A fragment of the original LINE1 element; copies are around 26% divergent from the consensus sequence. There are approximately 12000 copies of this fragment in the Monodelphis assembly. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
