Title: hAT-N3_CR, a family of nonautonomous hAT transposons from the green algae genome |
Journal: Repbase Reports 4:(4) p. 121 (2004) |
Abstract: About 30 copies of hAT-N3_CR are present in the C. reinhardtii genome. They are ~98% identical to the consensus sequence. hAT-N3_CR is characterized by 14-bp TIRs and 8-bp TSDs. Some copies are less than 1% diverged from each other. Therefore, it is likely that this family and its autonomous counterpart are still active.
