Title:
Harbinger2N_TP, a family of nonautonomous Harbinger DNA transposons from diatom Thalassiosira pseudonana.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3:(8) p. 155 (2003)
Abstract:
Harbinger2N_TP copies are ~98% identical to the consensus sequence, they are flanked by 3-bp target site duplications. Harbinger2N_TP has 38-bp terminal inverted repeats. This family of nonautonomous transposons was derived from Harbinger2_TP. These elements share ~90% identical 140-bp 5'- and 400-bp 3' ends, respectively.
