Abstract: LTR retrotransposon; copia superfamily. Internal portion. LTRs is deposited in Repbase as copia-3-LTR_AN. It is a relatively old LTR retrotransposon, its internal portion encodes remnants of a copia-like polyprotein (numerous stop-codons). The polyprotein is most similar to polyproteins from some copia elements in the Arabidopsis thaliana genome.
