Abstract: G7_DM belongs to the JOCKEY group of non-LTR retrotransposons. G7_DM is a separate family. Members of this family are 94% identical to each other. G7_DM is <70% identical to reported retrotransposons. The sequence is incomplete and represents the 3' terminal portion. CDS is damaged by mutations.
