Title: ACCORD2, a family of GYPSY-like endogenous retroviruses in Drosophila melanogaster. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 2:(8) p. 1 (2002) |
Abstract: LTR of ACCORD2 is listed in Repbase Update as ACCORD2_LTR. ACCORD2 was active relatively recently since its internal portion is flanked by 98% identical LTRs. Regions encoding Gag, RT and INT proteins are slightly damaged by mutations.
