Abstract:
HATN12_DR is a family of nonautonomous DNA transposons that belongs to the hAT superfamily [2]. More than 10,000 copies of HATN12_DR are expected to populate the zebrafish genome. The element was active long time ago, its copies are ~16% divergent from the consensus sequence. HATN12_DR is characterized by 8-bp target site duplications and perfect 16-bp terminal inverted repeats.
