Abstract: TC2_FR1 to 6 are Tc2-like DNA transposons grouping with the Kanga1 and 2 elements that were active in Mesozoic mammals. An internal deletion product of an autonomous element. On average, copies are 7.5% diverged from the consensus, including at least 51 CpGs (5.3% of dimers).
