Abstract:
Internal sequence of an endogenous retrovirus closely related to FERVR1 (83% similarity over full-length internal sequence). Several other closely related branches of this family are present in the Fugu genome. Some copies are < 4% diverged from this consensus as well, so FERVR1 and 2 are sister groups, rather than one being ancestral to the other.
