Abstract:
Internal sequence of an endogenous retrovirus most closely related (thus far) to the walleye epidermal hyperplasia virus type 2 (53% AA similarity of pol gene product). Reverse transcription appears primed from a tRNA-Arg-CGY (hence FERVR). Some copies are < 3% diverged from this consensus.
